There have been some differences of opinions on what or how to increase the number of members and players for the MAGA Tournaments. If you have any feedback on this or any other subject regarding MAGA send it to the P.O. Box 1232 so we can make adjustments for next year.
For any player who has cashed throughout the year and did not receive your money, it is enclosed in the last mailing for the 2002 year.
Next year we will try and have the same number of tournaments around the same times of the months we play.
There will be a few changes for next year. Below is an example of some that will occur.
1. Membership fees will be raised to $25 if you choose not to be e-mailed with entry blanks and results. This means if you choose to have your entry and results mailed to you, your membership fee will be $25.
2. Membership fees will be $20 if you have an e-mail address and choose to have your entry blanks and letters sent by way of computer.
3. Also in an effort to increase the number of members, we will be giving a $5 rebate back to any member who recruits a new member for next year. So if you get three new members you will receive $15 from MAGA. This money will be taken from the new members membership fees.
The difference in membership fees is a way to encourage people to use our website that T.J. Cope has created. It is listed at the bottom of the page.
If you have any other ways to increase members let someone know. It seems that the number 1 gripe for 2002 was there were not enough players at the tournaments.
One way to try and encourage more play was to give year end awards to the people who accumulated the most points or monies won throughout the year. This years winners were as follows. Remember the more events you play, the more likely you are to receive these prizes There were only two members who played in all of the events. They were Russ Yenser and Chris Wyler. Both who received
something from the year end awards. Money winnings are accumulated from team payouts and closest to the pins for all tournaments.

Please make an effort to view this website and all the information that T.J. Cope has put his time structuring for the members of MAGA. If there is a new member who would like to see what money is given out or scores that are shot in our tournaments, have them view this site. This is why we are trying to have more information put on the computer so more people can access the information.
