As another golf year comes to an end the disabled list continues to grow. Just to name a few are Jim Drury getting over knee surgery, Barry Wills fractured wrist but is also relocating to Florida. Hope he will come back to Ohio again to play some more golf. Also Russ Yenser who is scheduled to have right shoulder rotor cuff surgery before next season. The last tournament of the 2021 year was played at Wildwood Golf Course. Almost all of our tournaments were played with about 24 to 28 golfers. It would have been nice to have a few more but we will go with what we have.

This concludes the schedule for the 2021 season. Hope to see all of you next year in the MAGA. The tournaments will run from April through October in the year 2022.

 By not putting in all your scores you may be cheating partners in the blind draw. Some people were penalized for not submitting their scores from MAGA Tournaments.  These can be put in on the internet from home with your name and GHIN number. It only takes a minute or two.

Because of the new handicap system I did not record any of your scores from 2021 season. I will look to see how many of you  did not recored your MAGA scores and let you know. I can’t record scores under the new system because of security reasons but I can penalize you if you don’t. If you do not know how or need help give me a call.

Hope to see you next year and bring a friend to increase the number of members.

We did have a few new golfers this year and the return of some old ones. Hope to continue to try and increase our group to around 28 for all tournaments.

Due to my scheduled shoulder surgery the yearly Florida trip was cancelled but hopefully will have enough interest to schedule the next year.

For some of you who play in the Horn Scramble some of our members cashed in the tourney on Sunday after are MAGA Tournament.
