The September tournaments of the year was played at Elks Run with the lowest number of entries 13 in the history of tournaments on Saturday and followed up at Armco Park on Sunday with 12 golfers.

It is sad that we can't have more golfers at our tournaments. Some of the past refuse to play in the outings but still play routinely every week. Maybe next year we can recruit some new players.

 The last tournament will be held at Wildwood. The entry fee is $55 for Saturday. The format is a two man best ball..The date is October 8, 2016. The entries are due by September 28th. Tee times start around 11:30 on Saturday.

With the status of Weatherwax Golf Course still in limbo who knows if most of the members will have a home course to play next year. Although we only play Weatherwax once a year, we still need to increase the participation to enable the prize money to increase. If you have any ideas on doing so let me know.

The number of golfers decreased dramatically in 2016. We lost a few to injuries at the end of the year but still need some of the past players to return.
