With the weather almost perfect, we played our 5th tournament of the year. With a small field of 6 teams the winning team of Don Hartness, Terry Halderman, Larry Lawson and Russ Yenser won despite the finishing scores of 6, 7, 9, & 10 on the 18th hole. The next tournament will be at Hickory Woods on August 16th. Signup will be as a twosome with a blind draw for partners.
The 5th tournament of the year was played at Kings Island.

The deadline for the next tournaments will be Wednesday August 6th. Entry fee for this tourney is $55 per man which includes greens fee, cart and prize fund. The tee times will start around 12:30 PM.
The Hickory Woods format will be 4 man 6 / 6 / 6. Sign up as a twosome. Tournament date is August 16, 2014.
Dont get shut out, we dont have that many golfers the way it is now.
Also by now everybody should have a paid USGA handicap. If you are one of the few that does not you will be penalized on your handicaps. This not in turn penalizes you but it also penalizes your partners. So if you do not have one get it before the remaining tournaments.

After this tournament we will have 3 more tournaments. Two in September at Shaker Rub on Saturday September 13th & Sunday September 14th at Armco Park. The last tournament will be held at Wildwood on October 11th.
