With the weather almost perfect with the exception of a little wind, the scores were lower than usual.

There were a couple of distinguishing scores that need to be noted in that the team of Terry McGuire & Dick Freeman shot a team total of -23 points. Also on the individual side Barry Wills took a whopping score of 18 on the last hole. I bet the water level rose after his playing.

The next tournaments will be at Snow Hill & Armco Park on September 14th & September 15th. Because of a mistake in scheduling from Snow Hill the tee times are late at 2:00 PM but the price has decreased.

 On Sunday the tee times will be around  9:30 AM. Also a change on Sunday is you can pick your own foursome to play with but we will blind draw for 2 man teams after you finish. Also there will be hamburgers & hot dogs after the round on Sunday.

The 7th  tournament of the year was played at Kings Island.

The deadline for the next tournaments will be Wednesday  September 4th.  Entry fee for this tourney is $40 per man which includes greens fee, cart and prize fund. The tee times will start around 2:00 PM.

The Snow Hill format will be 4 man double best ball. Sign up as a foursome. Tournament date is September 14, 2013. Sign up as a twosome or pick your own foursome.

Also on Sunday September 15, 2013 we will play our par 3 Tourney at Armco Park. The format is a two man best ball. You may sign up as a foursome for tee pairings but will have a blind draw for 2 man best ball teams after the round. Also there will be a closest to the pin on all holes for $10 each.  Also we will have hamburgers and hot dogs after the golf. Entry fee for this tourney is $37

for people under 55 and $35 for people 55 and older. Entry fee includes prize money and golf but no carts.  

This format will be as follows:

Gross points, net points and money winnings will count for the yearly totals.

Don’t get shut out, we don’t have that many golfers the way it is now.
