The 1st tournament of the 2013 year was held at Walden Ponds. We had 28 golfers for the first tournament. Remember to sign up for your handicap cards as soon as possible.
We will be playing the White Tees at Weatherwax on our next tournament. The format is a 4 man customized stableford. You can sign up as a foursome for this tournament. If there are only 2 of you we will pair you with another twosome.
The winners were Mark Mattingly & Dennis Daley tied with Steve Harrison & Rich Mealey with a score of 61. This shows that it pays to go on our February Golf Trip to Florida for the Winter Tour.

Remember to pay your membership fee even if you have not played yet. Anyone who hasn’t paid by May will be dropped from e-mails and future mailings.
The next tournament will be held at Weatherwax Golf Course. The cost for this tournament will be $45. The date of this tournament will be April 20th with tee times starting around 12:00. The format of this tourney is a 4 man customized stableford. Sign up as a twosome or a foursome. If you are a member or work at Weatherwax the cost is $15. No carts are included in these fees. The deadline for Weatherwax is April 10th.
Like all our remaining tourneys full handicap will be used. All players need to pay for their handicaps so they can be found in the GHIN System. Scores must be posted at your respective courses. |
For the new members there are optional side pots that consist of low gross, low net and skins. If a person didn’t have a paid handicap for the first tourney he should get one before the next date. Get your handicap cards paid before the next tournament.
There are months throughout the year that have 2 events for a given month like May and September. So save your money so you can enter as many as you can or want too.
