The 6th tournament of the year was played at Heatherwoode Golf Couse where we have not played in about 4 years. The scores were a little lower than usual and I expect that everyone will add them to their USGA Handicaps. This will be checked before the next tournament. It was a beautiful day and everything seemed to go fine. We again had only 28 players which seems to be the normal anymore.

The next tournament will be held at Kings Island Golf Course. The date of this tournament will be August 18th with tee times starting around 12:00 PM. The format of this tourney will be a 2 man modified stableford system The deadline for the Kings Island Tournament will be Wednesday August 8th . Entry fee for this tournament is $55.
The remainder of the tournaments will be as follows:
September 15th
Beavercreek – 4 man double best ball
September 16th
Armco Park – 2 man Ryder Cup Format. Sign up as single This tournament will be as follows:
Both players will hit their tee shots. After that you choose which one to play and alternate shots until the ball is holed out. Handicaps will be used but adjusted to a percentage. Closest to the pins will be on every hole. There will not be a net side game because the tournament team with low net will win the tournament. But there will be a skin game included in the price of the tournament. Everyone is in skins and they will be split among the team members if won.

Also there has been some talk of maybe playing Browns Run Country Club on Sunday October 14th. Let me know if that is of interest and we can pursue it a little more. As of now this is not confirmed.
There will be no guests in October, you must be a paid member to play the last tournament. We currently have about 42 paid members.
