The 2nd tournament of the year was played from the upper tees but that did not mean the players shot any lower. Some played well, but others shot worse than from the normal tees. The weather could have been a factor.
It goes to show that practice does not always help your golf game.
Also dont forget to enter your MAGA scores into your USGA Handicap so your handicaps will be figured accurately. All scores should be entered into your USGA Handicaps.
Also everyone should have a paid USGA before the next tournament or I will adjust your handicap accordingly.
We have had only 32 & 28 players in the first 2 tournaments. Hope that number can increase to about 36 or 40 for the rest of the tear.

The next tournament will be held at Beckett Ridge on Saturday & Yankee Trace on Sunday. The entry fee is $50 for Saturday and $55for Sunday. The format is a two man alternate holes on Saturday and a four man 6/6/6 on Sunday. The date is May 19th and May 20th . The entries are due by May 9th. Tee times start around 8:00 on Saturday and around 11:00 AM on Sunday.
If there are any different formats we are not using, give your suggestion to either Russ Yenser or TJ Cope for consideration.
