To start off with let me emphasize that all players are to hole out every hole. I dont care how many strokes it takes you. Gross & Net points are determined from everyone's scores. If you X-out you receive the minimum number of points and also I do not know what score to put in for handicap.
The 6th & 7th tournaments of the year were played at Walden Ponds and Shaker Run. Both days stayed dry but were extremely hot.

The deadline for the Kings Island Tournament will be Wednesday August 3rd. . Entry fee for this tourney is $55 per man which includes greens fee, cart and prize fund. The tee times will start around 11:00 AM.
The Kings Island Tourney will be a 2 man alternating holes. Sign up as a twosome or foursome.
Also there has been mentioned that the tees we are playing are to long. Although I hear you I think it is fair to the majority of golfers. Remember I may be the shortest hitter in MAGA. If you need too, use more club. Just a few are short hitters. Next we will be wanting to give putts that are within the putter grip.
Also numerous people have complained about the time it takes to play 18 holes. If MAGA is not held up by people in front of us, who do you think slows the group up. Take a look at your members and see who you think are slow players. Also be ready to hit when it is your turn. Take your practice swings early and dont be afraid to putt out if you are not in someone's line. |
