The 1st  tournament of the 2011 year was held at Stonelick Hills on a day that could have been worse than it was. We had 31 golfers for the first tournament. Remember to sign up for your handicap cards as soon as possible.

Note that from now on if a golfer enters a tournament than backs out for any reason and can’t find a replacement for him, they will lose their prize fund money for that tournament. If the course refuses to give back their entry fee or makes MAGA pay for them they will also lose that money too.

Remember if you are entering as a foursome to put it on your entry for Weatherwax Tourney.

Remember to pay your membership fee even if you have not played yet. Anyone who hasn’t paid by May will be dropped from e-mails and future mailings.

The next tournament will be held at Weatherwax Golf Course. The cost for this tournament will be $45. The date of this tournament will be April 16th  with tee times starting around noon. The format of this tourney is a 4 man all balls. Sign up as a twosome or a foursome. If you are a member or work at Weatherwax the cost is $15. No carts are included in these fees.  The deadline for Weatherwax is April 6th.

Like all our remaining tourneys full handicap will be used. All players need to pay for their handicaps so they can be found in the GHIN System. Scores must be posted at your respective courses.

For the new members there are optional side pots that consist of low gross, low net and skins. If a person didn’t have a paid handicap for the first tourney he should get one before the next date. Get your handicap cards paid before the next tournament.

There are months throughout the year that have 2 events for a given month like May, July and September. So save your money so you can enter as many as you can or want too.
