The August Tourney was played in an interrupted day of bad weather. With lightning all around it took from start to finish about 7 hours to play the 18 holes.
Not bothered by the weather Kihm Pinson shot his best 18 hole score of 85 to easily capture the lowest net score recorded with a 60. It was not enough to carry his teammates.
The winning team was TJ Cope, Bob Angel, Darrell Townsend and Jim Zimmer with a -27 score.

The next tournament will be held at Vineyards Golf Course. The date of this tournament will be September 11th Saturday with tee times starting around 11:00 AM. The format of this tourney will be a four man 6/6/6 with full handicap. Sign up as a twosome.
The deadline for this tourney is Wednesday September 1st. Entry fee for this tournament is $57.
Closest to the pins will be awarded in gift certificates that must be spent in the pro shop.
The Sunday Tournament September 12, 2010 will be held at Armco Park with tee times starting around 9:00 AM. The cost of this tournament is $35 for people under 55 and $33 for people over 55 years of age. Sign up as a single and we will pair teams of twosomes. There will be closest to the pin on every hole. If you want a electric cart they are limited, so get there early.
Also there will be a cookout of hamburgers & hotdogs after the round.
Both of these tournaments count for the end of year points.
