The 2nd Tournament of the year was played at Weatherwax to try and get better course conditions on some of the future tournaments. The course was in great shape for being early in the year and although there was some wind conditions, the weather was pretty good. There will be no more mailings after this one if a person has not paid their MAGA membership. Also everyone should have a paid USGA before the next tournament or I will adjust your handicap accordingly. We had 44 players for the last tournament and there are some past members who have yet to join and play. This year we have 11 tournaments scheduled and hope there is a good turnout for all of them. If you cant play in all of them, remember you can pick the ones that you are able. The next tournaments will be played at Blue Ash on Saturday May 15th and at Beckett Ridge on Sunday May 16th. If your entry is not received by May 1st you will not be able to get in late unless it is to make the foursomes even. The courses require entries in earlier than normal.

The next tournament will be held at Blue Ash Golf Course. This is the first time MAGA has played this course that I know of. The entry fee is $59 for this tournament which includes golf, cart, prizes and a box lunch. The format is a two man alternate holes. The date is May 15th and the entries are due by May 1st. Tee times start around 11:00 AM.

The Sunday tournament will be played at Beckett Ridge Golf Course on Sunday May 16th with tee times starting around 10:00 AM. The format for this tournament will be a four man triple balls with a little twist. Signup as a twosomes and pairings will be blind drawn. The cost of this tournament is $55 that includes golf, carts and prize money.
Here is the little twist for this tournament:
1. Teams must use 3 balls per hole
2. A player cannot be skipped two holes in a row
3. If 2 or 3 players tie you must use the lowest indexes
4. Remember all scores are net
