First let me start with a pat on the back to myself. In June I played in a national qualifier for Nature Valley Golf and won my flight. For winning this flight I qualified to play at Sawgrass in Jacksonville, Florida in late October. These qualifying tournaments were played at all TPC Courses throughout the country. There will be 18 players in each of the four flights. I played at TPC Rivers Bend.

The 7th  &  8th  tournaments of the year were played on 2 extremely hot days. On Saturday there were a number of people who felt heat exhaustion.

Allow enough time to get to the next course at Vineyards Golf Course. It took me about 60 miles from Monroe to get there. So plan accordingly when going there.

Sundays tourney at Armco Park was enjoyed by the people who played that day. Although it was a par 3 course it proved to be more of a challenge than most thought it would. Some people that were critical of playing this course should maybe try it they might have liked it.

The next tournament will be held at Vineyards Golf Course.  The date of this tournament will be September 12th  with tee times starting around 11:00 AM. The format of this tourney will be a four man 6/6/6 with full handicap. Sign up as a twosome. The deadline for this tourney is Wednesday September 2nd.  Entry fee for this tournament is $55.
