The 5th tournament of the year was won by John Knechtly and George Lackens with a score of 65. Most people were finished before the rain hit and drowned the remaining players.

In an effort to get information to the members TJ Cope has developed a website. The web page site is:

The deadline for the Heatherwoode Tournament will be Wednesday August 13th . Entry fee for this tourney is $54 per man which includes greens fee, cart, range balls and prize fund. The tee times will start around 1:00 PM.

The Heatherwoode Tourney will be a two man best ball.  Sign up as a twosome or foursome and we will blind draw if need be.

The Moss Creek Tournament will be held Sunday August 24th and the entry fee is $53. The tee times will start around 12:00 PM.

The format for this tourney will be a 6/6/6 and deadline for this tourney is also August 13th .

Remember you can’t play a second tourney as a guest, you must join MAGA.

The numbers are down a little from last year but we continue to have between 36 and 40 golfers for each tournament.

After Heatherwoode there are only 2 tournaments left for the year, Hueston Woods which will be made up on September 21st which is a Sunday with tee times starting around 9:00 AM and Wildwood in October..

Remember if you have a credit left from the Hueston Woods rainout you can use it for the next tournies. Just let me know that is your intentions.

Remember to get your entries in early so you don’t get shutout. The money must be received with your entries in order to be counted.

There are a few people who still may need a partner for one of the upcoming tournaments. If you want to play send in your entry and money and I will try to pair you up.
