The 7th tournament of the year was played on a beautiful day for golf. Congratulations to Steve Harrison who shot his lowest score ever in a MAGA event. After his earlier victory Mark Mattingly and his partner have finished with back to back last place finishes. Nobody has ever finished with three in a row. Also I would like to mention Hopefully next year we will continue to add more new members. Having 40 to 60 players per tournament would be ideal and would supply adequate prizes for each outing. There were 32 players at Weatherwax.
The winners were Steve Harrison and Rich Mealy with a score of 66.

The next tournament will be held at Wildwood Golf Course. This will be our final tournament of the year 2007. The date of this tournament will be October 13th with tee times starting around 1:00 PM. The format for this tourney will be a four man triple best ball. Sign up as twosomes and we will blind draw the teams and tee times. Entry fee for this tourney is $55 which includes greens fees, cart, and prize fund. Entry deadline for this tournament is October 3rd. Make sure to sign up early for the last tourney of the 2007 year. Year end and excess money will be paid out after this tournament. If you have any money winnings due to you, it can be collected at this tourney.

Also if there is a course you would like to play again or a new one, let TJ Cope or Russ Yenser know at the Wildwood Tourney and we will see if it can be put on next years schedule.
Another note for the final tourney is that if the players are not a member they are not eligible to play in this tourney unless they pay their $20 MAGA membership. If we come up with an odd number of players and need to fill a foursome, the membership fee will be waived. But there are several members who are not signing up as twosomes and have been paired with other single members.
Remember if you dont send the money in for the tournament you are not entered.
