The 6th & 7th tournament of the year was won by Jim Flannery and Rob Bennet on Saturday with a net score of 70. On Sunday the tournament was won by Don Hartness and Chris Wyler with a score of 61 in the low ball. The high ball low ball winner was Russ Yenser and Larry Lawson with a score of 78.
Both days were nice and dry. The threat of rain didn’t happen on either day. Saturdays format had mixed opinions from members. I thought it was something different and personally liked the format. If we could have played six players instead of eight, the pace would have been more consistent. Sundays tourney was almost perfect weather and the only thing it lacked was more players. There was an accounting mistake on the payouts for low net and skins on Sunday. Some people that received money on Sunday will have to repay a little of your winnings.

The next tournament will be held at Weatherwax Golf Course. The date of this tournament will be September 16th with tee times starting around 12:30 PM. The format of this tourney will be the modified stableford system. The deadline for the Weatherwax Tournament will be Wednesday September 6th . Entry fee for this tournament is $42. No carts are included with this tournament. The point system for Weatherwax is below.
