The 8th  tournament of the year was played on a beautiful day for golf.  A tip of the hat to Rick Welfare who eagled the #2 par 5 on Woodside to receive a skin and $40. With the conclusion of the 2006 year coming soon we did not receive too many new recruits of members for this year. Hopefully next year we will continue to add more new members. Having 40 to 60 players per tournament would be ideal and would supply adequate prizes for each outing.  There were 40 players at Weatherwax.

The next tournament will be held at Wildwood Golf Course. This will be our final tournament of the year 2006. The date of this tournament will be October 14th with tee times starting around 1:00 PM. The format for this tourney will be a four man 6/6/6. (Double, Triple, All Four Balls  Format) Sign up as twosomes and we will blind draw the teams and tee times. You will not play with your teammates. Entry fee for this tourney is $50 which includes greens fees, cart, and prize fund. Entry deadline for this tournament is October 4th. Make sure to sign up early for the last tourney of the 2006 year. Year end and excess money will be paid out after this tournament. If you have any money winnings due to you they can be collected at this tourney.
