The 8th and 9th  tournaments of the year were played on two hot days. Saturdays field was the smallest ever for a MAGA event. There were only 15 players. Your help in recruiting players for next year will keep the field up around the 60 man field with a little help. Most of our tournaments averaged around 44 players.

Saturdays winners were Mark Augspurger & Roger Campbell who tied with a net score of  70. Sundays winners were Herb Holmes and Steve Goertemiller with a score of 60. This is the first time this team has ever won first place in a MAGA Tourney. They haven’t played in three or four months while they were practicing up on their game. Now they can empty the sand and start playing again. Saturdays winners were:

The next tournament will be held at Wildwood Golf Course. This will be our final tournament of the year 2005. The date of this tournament will be October 8th with tee times starting around 1:00 PM. The format for this tourney will be a four man triple best ball.  Sign up as twosomes

and we will blind draw the teams and tee times. You will not play with your teammates. Entry fee for this tourney is $50 which includes greens fees, cart, and prize fund. Entry deadline for this tournament is September 28th. Make sure to sign up early for the last tourney of the 2005 year. There will be two closest to the pins on each par 3, with the closest receiving a dozen golf balls.  Year end and excess money will be paid out after this tournament.

We are looking at playing some different courses next year. Stonelick Hills is one of the possibilities. If there is another one you would like to play, let Russ Yenser know soon.
