The final tournament of the year 2005 ended with the team of Bill Daley, Dennis Daley, Bill Burnside & Kihm Pinson shooting a team score of 195. Three of the four players shot under par for their net score.  I am surprised we did not get more players for Wildwood. They gave us a good price to play but the number of players were a bit disappointing.  The first tournament for next year will be played at Stonelick Hills which is east on I-275 between Hickory Woods and Legendary Run. It is only about 2 years old but the layout is a good challenge for MAGA.

Any suggestions on courses or formats need to be made soon because tournaments and locations are set near December. We hope we can get a few new members for 2006. Hopefully we can get a few more members for next year. There were a little more than 60 members for this year. We averaged about 35 players per tournament but would like to get that number up to about 48 if we can. The year end awards were dominated by Roger Campbell who won all three. These awards are given to try and encourage players to play in all the tournaments.

This concludes the schedule for the 2005 season. Hope to see all of you next year in the MAGA. Remember there is a $5 recruiting fee for any MAGA member who gets a new player for next year. The tournaments will run from March through October in the year 2006. Starting out the first tournament people who previously had e-mails will continue to get them, people who were mailed, will be sent in the mail. This information will be sent out sometime around the beginning of March. You can send in your membership fee with that entry.

There is the two day tournament in September at Weatherwax. The courses above are the only ones who are relatively confirmed for next year. The dates can be changed.

This year was not to bad with late entries but can be sent in early if you wish. For the ones who know they are going to get into skins or low net it would be a lot easier on us if you would send that money with your entry. These tournaments are scheduled far enough in advance for you to get your entries in on time.
