The  3rd tournament of the 2005  year was held at Walden Ponds on another normal day for golf in May.

Some people still want to push the deadline date to enter tournaments. Remember we play at least one every month. If you want to play your money must accompany your commitment to be in on time.

Although Jeff Jena was playing as a guest we hope he will continue to play and bring back some of the Wildwood players from the past.

The next tournament will be held at Hueston Woods.  The date of this tournament will be June 4th with tee times starting at 8:00 AM. The format of this tourney is a 4 MAN 6/6/6. Sign up as a twosome.

This price of $40 does not include a cart or range balls. The deadline for this tourney is May 25, 2005. You can walk if you want too. People will be paired by a blind draw.

Handicaps are the responsibility of the individuals. I do not post scores for your USGA handicaps. You must do that yourself. Many people did not or do not have the right amount of scores for your USGA handicaps. Like all of our remaining tourneys full handicap will be used. We do occasionally check to see if some of our low net people post the low scores too. If someone continues to stay at a higher handicap in their USGA without posting all their scores we will question their handicaps and adjust if necessary.

Also we decided to try out a course that was suggested from a member. This member did not even play this tournament. Majestic Springs was not a bad course but was unorganized

and a little out of the way to play all the time. Also the tee selection was the wrong one, but not knowing the course I felt it was too short on the other tees. We should have played the other tees.
