The 5th tournament of the year saw a tie between the foursomes below. Even though this course is short it still is a challenge to position your shots to score well. The weather ended up being a beautiful day for golf.
If you prepay or pay at the golf course for side games make sure you put your name on the right sheet or you will not be entered in that side game. It is the responsibility of the golfer to make sure his or her name is on the sheet if they paid for that side game. This happened in two different categories in the last tournament. The next time you will not be included if your name is not on the sheet.
There was only one person who didnt get into the skins game for this tournament and he would have cancelled the skin that Russ Yenser won had he played. Thanks for the $22.

In an effort to get information to the members TJ Cope has developed a website. The web page site is: TJCOPE.NET/MAGA
The next tournament will be held at Beavercreek Golf Club. The date of this tournament will be August 16th with tee times starting at 10:30 AM. The format of this tourney will be the 6/6/6 format which is single best ball the first six, double best ball the second six and triple best ball the last six.
You can sign up as a twosome or a foursome. Twosomes will have a blind draw to determine teams. Get your entries in early so you will not be shutout.
The deadline for the Beavercreek Tournament will be Thursday August 7th. Entry fee for this tourney is $57 which includes greens fee, cart, range balls and prize fund.
People who send in their entry fees and side games in advance will be given first choices if possible when requesting certain tee times. Everyone wants to play early.
There are only three more tournaments remaining for the rest of |
the year. In this last tournament five of the top ten yearly category leaders did not play. The top ten list did change a little.
